In the decades that WHRO Public Media has been broadcasting music, the station has accumulated thousands of recordings. In this digital age, the music is now stored electronically and the original recordings are no longer needed. We are pleased to be able to offer these recordings to our members. There are thousands of CD’s and LP’s in this collection, some going back over 50 years. Among the LP’s are classic recordings, some very rare and valuable, especially those featuring great opera singers of the past. The public is invited to browse through and select recordings from this vast collection on Saturday, January 21, at the WHRO studios.
We will have over 20,000 vinyls and CDs that we are giving away.

WHRO Radio hosts Paul Shugrue, Jae Sinnett, Wayla Chambo, Dwight Davis, Raymond Jones, and Barry Graham will be on site and will sign albums.
Help yourself to as much music as you want, but you need to bring your own bags and boxes.
