Now that our prelim season has come to an end, we continue on with our exhibition slam season!
We are kicking things off with our annual 1-2-3 SLAM! Hosted by Jorge Mendez!
This slam will have 1 min, 2 min, and 3 min rounds, all with a 10 second grace period!
Same rules as our regular slam applies:
Scoring and Time: All rounds cumulative. After the 10 second grace period, .5 will be deducted for every 10 seconds a poet goes over.
No props, music accompaniment or nudity.
This is a great slam to try out those shorter poems! Also! If you’re preparing for WOWPS this is a great slam to compete in!
As always, we need poets, judges and people to fill the space! We’re back at our home, the Venue on 35th St, so let’s pack the house and have a good time!
